Nothing says American hospitality like cookies

Ok...so in a constant effort of getting everyone to like me I decided to bake and bring the fruits of my labor to work. Cookies are always easy and an instant crowd pleaser but having done normal chocolate chip ones last time, I decided I needed a bit of variety in my life. Without any hesitation, my mind raced back to those oh-so-divine oatmeal chocolate chip cookies Mishi made a year ago. How do I remember them after all this time? They were that good. So several hours later (my oven could only bake 6 at a time) I filled my tub with 36 delectable goodies surely to win me praise and a possibly a bonus at my year end review. My colleagues left no prisoners.

These were the ones I saved myself...I say I bake for others but I've had over half a dozen...
